Colorado CustomWare Selects Parature for Online Support

Reston, VA - August 8, 2003 - Parature Inc., an innovator of online support software, today announced that Colorado CustomWare has selected Parature to power its support website. The announcement comes at a time when more and more small- and medium-sized businesses are choosing Parature to launch their first-ever online support initiatives. Parature's hosted online support solution provides a high level of functionality and value for a relatively low price tag.

Colorado CustomWare, www.coloradocustomware.com, is a private company that provides appraisal assessment software to state and local governments nationwide. The company selected Parature after evaluating online support solutions from other vendors including RightNow Technologies and YellowFish Software.

Prior to selecting Parature, Colorado CustomWare did not provide an online support option to its customers. People using the company's appraisal assessment software typically called into a toll-free phone number for support, or sent email to a support email address that was shared by several Colorado CustomWare employees. Response times to customer inquiries and the responses themselves varied greatly depending on who serviced the call.

With Parature, Colorado CustomWare is able to provide a consistent level of support to every customer by leveraging Parature's web knowledge base and built-in ticket management system. By involving the customer more in solving problems, Colorado CustomWare is also gaining a better understanding of its market while controlling its own support costs.
