Karolyn Dector

Vice President of Services

Karolyn Dector, Vice President Services, is responsible for leading the execution of all professional services at Parature. Her duties include overseeing all deployment procedures, customization enhancements and executing client specifications for new and existing Parature customers. Karolyn’s strong technical engineering background has facilitated the success of Parature’s Professional Services team.

Prior to joining Parature, Karolyn designed and developed a biological and chemical medical surveillance application at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. In addition, she served as a software engineer at MicroStrategy, where she undertook the backend design, architecture and message encryption for a wireless alarm system, as well as developing a XML database object management feature on the Narrowcase Server (NCS).

Karolyn holds a B.A. in Computer Science and a Minor in Computer Engineering from Dartmouth College and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
