Facility Security

Parature has selected Qwest to provide a secure hosting environment for Parature's service. Utilising its proprietary Internet Service Exchange technology, Qwest offers unsurpassed connectivity for high-demand bandwidth intensive applications in a secure environment. Our hosting partner provides 24-hour physical security, palm print and picture identification, redundant electrical generators, redundant data centre air conditioners and other back-up equipment designed to keep servers continually up and running.

Data Encryption

Parature leverages the strongest encryption products to protect customer data and communications, including 128-bit Verisign SSL Certification and 1024 Bit RSA public keys. Users will notice the lock icon in the browser, which indicates that data is fully shielded from access while in transit.

User Authentication

Our clients access Parature only with a valid username and password combination, which is encrypted via SSL while in transmission.

Operating Systems

Parature enforces tight operating system-level security by password protecting all operating system accounts and production databases. Parature also enforces tight operating system-level security by using a minimal number of access points to all production servers.

Data Ownership

All data entered into the Parature application by a client is owned by that client. Parature employees do not have direct access to the Parature production equipment, except where necessary for system management, maintenance, monitoring and backups.

Reliability

The Parature service is designed to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Backup

All networking components, SSL accelerators, load balancers, web servers and application servers are configured in a redundant configuration. All Customer data is duplicated and saved on a backup database server for redundancy.
